You cautiously joined the kickoff call, curiously explored the moodboard and, before you knew it, you had very strong opinions on the lower right serif of the last letter in your logo. The entire process flowed with barely any friction. Any quirks along the way were professionally dealt with.

• planning to use your brand assets and collateral for at least 4-5 years from now;
• cognisant that an adequate budget for professional branding work is in the thousands, not hundreds;
• willing to collaborate along the way by providing thoughtful input and constructive feedback - “I’ll know it when I see it” is convenient, but not quite productive.

From our end, we’ll commit to:

• designing for you, not for ourselves. While we treat every project like a portfolio piece - we only share proposals that we fully stand behind - we know intrinsically that our designs need to resonate with you and your vision before anything else;
• being fair and efficient about pricing. We don’t nickel-and-dime. If you want to see a proposal in both fuchsia and coral, we’re not going to pause the project to ask for $80 extra. Our fee includes enough of a buffer to accommodate occasional ebbs and flows. Should your request feel like a major turning point, we’ll be transparent about it. We understand that sometimes there’s a need to walk back on an already approved solution; we’ll flag it when it happens and we’ll transparently communicate how the budget needs to be adjusted;
• offering extras every now and then. We get a kick out of overdelivering - so whenever it’s feasible, we’ll throw in bonus deliverables like more file formats, extra Canva templates, additional web page designs or a print-ready leaflet.
