I'm Kevin Glover, and I help building owners, facility managers and architects design and operate better buildings. Better buildings are comfortable, healthy and efficient.

I have over 20 years of industry experience as a mechanical engineer specializing in HVAC system design and operation, energy management, and building automation systems.

Owners, engineers, architects, contractors and other clients all over the world have benefitted from my work on many air-conditioning, refrigeration and energy efficiency system projects, including: the world's tallest building, a major bank's new headquarters, the world's largest cruise ship, industrial factories and warehouses, churches, commercial buildings, the world's largest floating liquified natural gas platform, paper mills, and more.

I have also designed several related products, including: a range of water-cooled screw chillers that have been in global production for almost thirty years; tractor-trailer refrigeration units, a diesel-powered fishing boat refrigeration system, and an atmospheric water harvester.

The common thread with all of these client projects is an open and collaborative communication style. I first seek to understand what problem the client is trying to solve, and what their specific needs are. Then I design specific tailored solutions, keeping them informed and providing trade-offs and decision-making criteria each step of the way.

I am a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), registered in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Wisconsin and New York. I am also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a LEED AP O+M (Operations & Management) Professional, and a High-Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP). These third-party certifications mean I am qualified to provide a range of building design and energy management solutions, in multiple jurisdictions.

Some of the engineering design tools I use are AutoCAD, Revit, EnergyPlus, Carrier HAP, and Autodesk Inventor. I am proficient at 3D modeling, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and energy modeling and my experience means you get the job done right, and quickly.
