Xedrum is an expert software development studio!
We started as a small backend team. Grew by doing one thing well: shipping software that works the way clients expected it to. No surprises two weeks before launch. Just solid engineering and honest communication.
The team is about ten people now. Backend-heavy: Python is where most of us live day to day. FastAPI and Django for serious backend work. Node.js when the project fits better. React and Next.js on the frontend. React Native for mobile when clients need iOS and Android without maintaining two codebases.
We've shipped SaaS products, internal tools, data-heavy platforms and a growing number of AI-integrated systems over the last few years.
On the AI side, it's become a big part of what we do. RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, AI agents, workflow automation. We've built enough of these to have strong opinions about what actually works in production versus what only works in demos. Most clients who come to us for AI already tried something themselves and hit a wall. We know exactly where those walls are.
Who we work best with: startups past the idea stage who need to build something real. Engineering teams growing faster than their codebase can handle. Companies that want AI features but aren't sure where to start.
We're not the cheapest option. But we're engineers who care about what we're building and that tends to save money over time.
If something in your spec doesn't make sense we'll say so. If there's a simpler way to build what you need we'll tell you. That's just how we work.
