Kirsten Makin

I am a qualified journalist living in South Africa. I graduate from Rhodes University with my Bachelor of Journalism Degree in 2014.

While I specialized in creative-writing and photography, I also have a great interest in marketing and social media managing. I am currently work as a Marketing and Social Media Manager and I also freelance.

In addition to my marketing and writing I co-own and run an online thrift and vintage clothing shop.

I am able to undertake any tasks that involve, writing, editing, photography, social media or marketing.

I have two years experience in marketing and social media.

I am computer literate. I am able to use the entire Microsoft Suite and am proficient in Adobe Photoshop. I am very comfortable in creating blog or website content.

I have undertaken a number of marketing projects and social-media managing. I am happy to provide references if necessary.

In addition to my journalism background, I am a trained ESL teacher and have a 120 hour TEFL teaching certificate. I am able to undertake online tutoring.
