I design PCBs and firmware for STM32, nRF52, and ESP32 products, with support through prototyping and production. Our work at Zero-Axis includes an nRF52840 BLE/NFC smart lock with 100 units produced.

I can help with a new PCB, firmware for existing hardware, or a working prototype that combines both. My focus is on getting the electronics and firmware working together, then testing them against the functions your product needs.

My core work covers:

• Component selection, schematics and PCB layout in Altium Designer or KiCad.
• Embedded C/C++ firmware, peripheral drivers, FreeRTOS and Zephyr.
• BLE communication, sensor integration and device control.
• Board bring-up, hardware/firmware debugging and low-power measurements.
• Manufacturing files, build instructions and technical documentation.

We also manage production and sourcing for clients. Recent work includes:

• BLE/NFC smart lock: 100 units produced, including PCBA manufacturing, BLE/NFC antenna sourcing and graphic overlays.
• SOLAYE controller: 100 units produced, with a 1,000-unit production run now underway. Our scope includes PCBA manufacturing, enclosure/housing manufacture, light-line sourcing and custom connectors.

Our related engineering work includes Zephyr firmware, sensors, motor control, and Android/iOS communication for the smart lock, plus redesigning a legacy Renesas controller around STM32L4 and porting its firmware.

I'm a co-founder and engineering manager at Zero-Axis Technologies. Through our team, I also support BLE mobile-app integration and AWS IoT Core connectivity when required.
