I am a patent agent, USPTO registration 68040, with more than 15 years of experience preparing, filing and prosecuting patents. From 2011 until late 2016, I was vice president of intellectual property at LitePoint Corporation, a Silicon Valley company. While there I prepared, filed and prosecuted over 125 patents. Since then, working solo, I have prepared, filed and prosecuted more than 250 patents, including well over 200 design patents.

My background also includes marketing communications and marketing. When I look at an invention disclosure, I automatically look at it with an eye toward product development and product definition. Many find that insight very helpful.
