After a career in trade book publishing, I worked freelance for a
number of years as an actor, editor, theatre producer, international
relations consultant, public speaker, therapist, and translator. When
I moved to New York in 2007, I founded a board game company
called Strategic Space, Inc. Since trimming the staff there, I focused
more on editing, and I have worked as a medical editor
since 2014. I have also done editing and
copywriting at Wunderman Health, AgencySacks, Medallion Retail,
Real Chemistry, BGB Group, Ogilvy Health, and Razorfish Health
(100% copywriting). Right now I've taken on freelance clients in the
pharmaceutical advertising space looking to increase their immersion
into AI.
In my spare time, I compose music and write fiction. I've had 8 short stories and 2 novels published. I had a poem win the annual Comet Prize in 2024.
