I build client portals, internal tools and SaaS platforms as production software, not prototypes. Engagements tend to run long: two portals I am building now have reached 23125 billed hours.
WHAT I BUILD
Client portals and internal tools
This is the largest part of my work. Passwordless and magic-link authentication, WebAuthn and biometric sign-in, role-based access with real data isolation between tenants, scheduling integrations such as Acuity, invoice and document handling, webhook pipelines, and dashboards that non-technical staff can actually operate without training. Recent portal work has included environmental and waste reporting for a metrics platform, and a scheduling portal built from scratch with magic-link login and email delivery.
SaaS platforms
Multi-tenant architecture, subscription and payment flows through Stripe, Stripe Connect, PayPal and Braintree, admin tooling, usage reporting, and the unglamorous work of making a product survive its first hundred paying customers. I have taken MVPs through to subscription revenue and rescued platforms that stalled after launch.
AI features inside products that already exist
Chatbots, AI agent workflows, document processing, content moderation, and n8n automations wired into live systems rather than demos that stand alone. I work with the OpenAI, Anthropic and Claude APIs, LangChain, and speech tooling including Deepgram and Whisper. The useful version of this work is almost never a standalone bot; it is a feature inside a product people already use.
Back-end and API engineering
Node.js, Laravel and Python services. REST and GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL with row-level security, MongoDB, Supabase, Redis caching, and high-throughput data APIs where latency and consistency matter more than features. I have built sports data aggregation back ends serving real-time and historical feeds across multiple leagues, with multi-source ingestion, caching and structured logging.
Front end
React and Next.js with TypeScript and Tailwind, progressive web apps with service workers, and interfaces built mobile-first because most portal users are not at a desk.

INDUSTRIES
HOW I WORK
Long engagements over quick jobs. My current contracts run into the hundreds of hours each, on the same codebases, which is the only honest way to build something that has to be maintained.
Written scope before code. On larger builds I do the requirements work first, and I am comfortable acting as technical lead where a client needs more than one developer.
Regular updates, and a clear answer when something will not work, rather than a quiet workaround you discover six weeks later.
23,125+ hours delivered on Upwork. Available full time, and comfortable working across US, UK, European and Gulf time zones.
If you are building a portal, a SaaS product, or adding AI to something that already works, send me the problem rather than the spec and I will tell you what I would actually do.
