I've been a software engineer since 1980 and have written almost everything you can think of: A spreadsheet, wordprocessor, full accounting program, paint programs (vector and pixel), Email Client, Web browser (before Netscape existed), War Game Simulation for the Joint Chiefs, courseware to teach the Navy electronics, device drivers, Modula II and FORTH compiler, SCORM compliant courseware administration application, chess and other action and strategy games, a SCORM compliant web-based WYSIWYG courseware editor for the FBI, dozens and dozens of web applications for clients, and hundreds of smaller applications like a VPN client and mobile applications for Exxon/Mobil.

My most recent endeavor was for a 25 person recruiting company where I built their entire workflow system, to include a Twilio based phone system, chatGPT/Claude based resume rewriting system, Google Drive interface, massive search capabilities, all within a step based workflow. I have at least 30 languages under my belt. Learning new ones just takes a few hours to get the syntax and a couple days to master.

I've also managed several million dollar projects and teams of at least a dozen programmers.

I've been heavily involved in Software Quality Control/Assurance, Software Risk Management, and instituting processes for several companies and their programming staffs.

Worked with Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute to bring several defense contractors in the Washington D.C. area into the Capability Maturity Model.
