But numbers only tell part of the story. Here's who I actually am:

I was born right after the fall of the Soviet Union in one of the satellite states.
My fondest memories of childhood revolve around days spent learning with the person who instilled the aforementioned sense of self worth in me - my grandfather.

He taught me well. As a direct consequence of his teaching methods, I:

• Read Greek mythology anthologies in Russian and Bulgarian at age 5
• Was caught up on the Maths material for the next 3 years at age 6
• Replaced my teacher reading to the class while she graded our papers age 6
• Taught myself English starting with Cartoon Network in primary school

The qualities he impressed on me stood the test of time, too. After graduating high school, I went on to:

• Get a spot in one of the most coveted language departments at university - Arabic languages
• Be invited to and successfully complete 2 international retail management training programs at age 18 and 19
• Become the youngest ever store manager in two international retail companies
