I'm a senior Ruby on Rails and JavaScript developer in Phoenix, AZ. I build MVPs and SaaS apps, take over existing codebases, including ones started with AI tools, and rescue and upgrade legacy Rails apps. I've been building web applications for 20+ years.

I use AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode) every day, and for the last six months nearly all of my development work has been done that way. For you that means more gets shipped per hour, with the same code review and automated testing I've always insisted on. I've also built AI features myself, including chat over an application's own data using the Claude API with tool calling.

Software development is my business, I'm not moonlighting with a full-time job during the day. As such, I will not disappear one day to never be heard from again. Which unfortunately is a common situation with freelance developers.
