Hey, I'm Tony. I co-founded LLT Group back in 2010 and have been running it ever since. We're a digital agency that hit #92 on the Inc. 5000 list, grew to 90+ employees at our peak, and have since right-sized to a leaner team of 30+. Along the way we've worked with 1,200+ clients across the US, from local mom-and-pop shops to billion-dollar enterprises.
I'm on Upwork because I genuinely enjoy helping other founders and agency owners untangle the operational stuff I've already lived through. Hiring, processes, scoping projects, picking the right vendors, fixing things that are quietly broken. The work most consultants gloss over but that actually moves the needle.
HERE'S HOW I CAN HELP:
The work I take on usually falls into one of these buckets, but every engagement gets scoped to what you actually need:
→ Fractional COO / Ops Advisor
For founders and agency owners running $500K to $10M businesses. We figure out what's actually breaking and fix it. Hiring, SOPs, margins, client delivery, team structure, or the big scaling decisions you've been putting off. Usually a monthly retainer.
→ Practical AI Implementation
The grassroots version, not the pie-in-the-sky kind. I help founders and operators figure out where AI actually moves the needle in their business, then we implement it. Sales follow-up, customer support triage, content workflows, internal SOPs, reporting. Real tools shipped in weeks, not a 40-page strategy deck. I've been doing this in my own businesses, so I know what works and what's hype.
→ Strategy Workshops & RFP Building
Before you spend $20K, $50K, or $200K on a web build, app, or platform, let's actually figure out what you need. I run focused workshops that pin down your feature set, cut the stuff that won't move the needle, and phase the rest into a real budget. I'll also help you write the RFP and vet incoming vendor proposals. This is what I do every day at LLT Group, just on your side of the table.
→ Website & Digital Project Reviews
About to drop $20K+ on a web agency, dev shop, or marketing vendor? Let me look at the proposal, scope, and contract before you sign. I've been on the other side of 1,200+ of these deals. I'll tell you what's missing, what's padded, and where the risk actually is.
→ Agency Operator Consulting
For agency owners stuck between $500K and $3M in revenue. Pricing, packaging, delivery ops, account management, hiring frameworks, vendor relationships. The stuff nobody teaches you.
Anthony Z. earns an estimated $6.8k/mo. That's 4.7× the typical freelancer and more than 99.71% of everyone we track.
Pricing depends on the scope. Some engagements are a one-time project, some are monthly retainers, some are a single working session. Best way to figure it out is a quick call.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME:
I'm not a career consultant. For the last 16 years I've actually been running businesses, not just advising on them from the sidelines. Right now I operate three: LLT Group (the agency), EquitySet (a fintech platform that won Benzinga's Best Investment Research Tech of 2023), and DripTherapy (a brick-and-mortar medspa in Illinois). I've also been a recurring guest on Yahoo Finance talking markets and tech.
Across all three I've been hands-on implementing AI where it actually helps, not where it sounds impressive. Sales workflows, content systems, customer support, internal operations. So when I talk about practical AI, I'm talking from real-world use, not theory.
What that means for you: I've made most of the mistakes you're about to make. I've hired and fired. I've scaled a team to 90+ and I've had to make the call to right-size it. I've scoped projects that went sideways and projects that landed clean. I've negotiated with vendors from both sides of the table.
HOW WE'D WORK TOGETHER:
I'm selective about who I take on. Not because I'm precious about it, but because I'd rather work with people I can actually help. So expect a quick intro call before we kick anything off, just to make sure we're a good fit.
If you're a founder or agency owner who needs a real operator in your corner instead of a junior consultant reading from a playbook, send me a message. Happy to chat.
