💡 What Sets Me Apart

I don’t just wire up a database and a controller; most of my work has been on data-heavy, complex systems where, where:

• the data is large and messy,
• correctness and performance actually matter, and
• the system has to stay maintainable over years, not weeks.

I’m used to taking rough requirements from non-technical people, turning them into clear technical designs, and then implementing them in a way that is testable, observable, and deployable.

🏆 Recent / Representative Work

Omicsoft @ Qiagen – Analytics Backend
Designed and maintained backends ingesting and processing hundreds of millions of records, with custom storage for sparse data, external tool integrations in cloud-based pipelines, and restructured AWS components for reliability and maintainability.

Greenfield System – Migration from Legacy Monolith
Designed and delivered an MVP that evolved into a full solution while migrating core functionality out of a monolith. Built Elasticsearch-based search, ETL pipelines for data migration/transformation, caching and content versioning, and coordinated across dev, QA, and product.

Personal Budgeting Assistant (Microservice-style)
A personal project using a microservice/event-driven design for budgeting and finance insights, with .NET backends and React UI.

Stack Overflow RAG & Local GPT + RAG
Built a RAG pipeline over Stack Overflow data and a local GPT + RAG setup using Bedrock, Titan embeddings, and OpenSearch
