I am an accomplished computer programmer and system designer, a technology and science researcher, and an entrepreneur with extensive experience contracting and consulting remotely on projects ranging from early-stage startups to enterprise level systems.

Currently my primary focus is back-end Python/Django/GeoDjango & PostgreSQL/PostGIS development. I also have considerable experience designing and building full stack applications and data mining systems and am competent with a very wide range of technologies, programming languages, and tools - including JavaScript, AWS, and Git. I especially enjoy designing and implementing web applications, building custom workflows, and coding for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). And I am always eager to learn new technologies, to work in new domains, and to expand my experience with Machine Learning and with other emerging technologies like WebRTC and the Experience API (XAPI/LRS). I am passionate about and proficient at learning.

I am highly self-motivated, hyper organized, and a clear communicator with a sizable track record of developing and delivering quality solutions on time and on budget. I am especially adept at working with early-stage startups – one of the places my diverse skillsets really shine.
